Great music festivals inspire our creativity and Rifflandia is no exception. From the beautiful custom designed posters showcased at Artlandia to the fun and humor of Rifflandia TV to the unique artwork in the Rifflandia Magazine, it’s clear there are many talented and creative people on our island. PPS wants to showcase and celebrate these very artists with a unique opportunity. 
Design the PPS Rifflandia 2013 ad! It’s an opportunity to have your work published in one of the most sought after magazines in Victoria and win fabulous prizes! Rifflandia Magazine is a great way to share your artwork with like-minded, creative and appreciative people.
What’s in it for you?
- The Grand Prize (1) – Design will be PPS’ full page ad in the 2013 Rifflandia Magazine (circulation 25,000). The published ad will include the artist’s name as part of the design – easy and immediate recognition. Additional exposure when the design is posted on PPS’ blog & social media. There’s more: two (2) Rifflandia 2013 Super Passes, one (1) PPS shirt & a pizza delivered to the artist at Royal Athletic Park (RAP) during Rifflandia. (Estimated value – $1,600)
- The Runner Up (3) – Prizes will be given to the first three runners up. Each will receive the following: designs posted on PPS blog & social media along with artist’s name, a $25 gift card valid at either PPS location & a PPS shirt. (Estimated value – $50)
What we’re looking for:
- Design – Create a hand drawn image or images using two colors or less. Be sure to submit your design with a transparent background as it will overlay PPS’ standard kraft background. Don’t forget to include your name/signature in the design.
- Theme – Take your inspiration from the very thing you’re designing for – “You’re at RAP during Rifflandia. How does it feel?” Haven’t had the opportunity to experience RAP during Rifflandia? Here’s a video of the Flaming Lips life-changing performance last year to inspire you.
- Size – No larger than 7.0″ x 9.85″ in size.
- Format – Designs must be submitted in vector high res PDF (300 dpi).

Important note: We don’t want your design to be disqualified on a technicality – be sure you read the official rules before entering.
- Send your design in vector high res PDF (300 dpi) on a transparent background to contests@primastrada.com Be sure to include your full name, phone number & email. Prize winners will be announced shortly after the 2013 Rifflandia Magazine is published. By submitting your design you agree that you have read & comply with the official rules.
- PPS will select the winners based on originality, creativity, capturing the theme (“You’re at RAP during Rifflandia. How does it feel?”) and compliance with the official rules.
- Grand Prize winner & 3 runners up will be contacted shortly after the 2013 Rifflandia Magazine publication to arrange prize pick up. All prizes must be picked up in person.
- The contest runs from May 3, 2013 to June 3, 2013. Submissions received after midnight on June 3, 2013 will be disqualified.
