PPS Fantasy Pizza – what’s that you ask? Let us tell you …

For over 10 years now we’ve been asked about those “other” toppings. Pineapple seems to be the number one item that people request on pizza. We don’t get it…tropical fruit on pizza is not Italian.

Last year was our first year running a Fantasy Pizza Night and what a night!  PPS fans enjoyed Taco, Perogi, Hawaiian, Donair and even a dessert pizza that evening. This year, we’ve decided to feature a new ‘Fantasy Pizza’ each week for a whole month in all of our pizzerias!

At PPS, we stick with the traditional and use ingredients typically found on or inspired by traditional Neapolitan pizza. But, our Executive Chef and his team got a little crazy (or as they say in Italian, pazzo) and have been introducing toppings to pizzas you’ve never seen in our pizzerias before. And we’re doing it Prima Strada style.

It gets better, our crew in PPS production will be featuring Fantasy gelato all month too. Get excited, we sure are.  See you in February!

House Made Goods To Go

PPS house made goods now available to go! Order online for pick up from your favourite PPS location – it’s that easy.

We couldn’t think of a better way to start 2019 than to share a few of our delicious house made goods with you. The truth is we’ve been taking these tasty items home with us for years now. We figured why not share with our fans?

Granted, you don’t have to be a PPS Aficionado (although it helps…) to love our fennel sausage, pepperoni, olives and chilli oil. Traditionally served on or with our wood-fired pizza, all are made in house and they’re good. Really good.

Here’s how we’ve been serving them up at home:

Olives and Pepperoni for snacks and lunches – add olives, slices of pepperoni, few pieces of Parm and an apple – yum! Sausage for breakfast, lunch and dinner too! Pan fry the links along with an egg for breakfast or brunch. For dinner add sliced yellow and red peppers, onions and garlic or crumble it and toss with pasta, Parm and a handful of arugula.

Summer Spritz, spritzes are back, Prima Strada cocktails
Summer of Spritz at PPS

Try one, or all! They are delicious, trust us.

Starting June 18th – it’s the Summer of Spritz at PPS and our new and improved line up is both tempting and delicious.  These 4 thirst-quenching beauties are ideal on the patio but honestly, just as refreshing indoors paired with the classic Magherita or perhaps the Rucola e crudo.

With a nod from the Cocktail Gods, our talented bartenders including Scott Wronko and former PPS staffer Garet Kay collectively inspired and enhanced these drinks!

Try our new Campari Chinotto, Blueberry, Mint-Basil or the classic Italian favourite Aperol Spritz. Fantasy Night Pizza – what’s that you ask? Let us tell you …

For years now (almost 10!) we’ve been asked about those “other” toppings. At PPS, we stick with the traditional and use ingredients typically found on or inspired by traditional Neapolitan pizza. But for one night only, we got a little crazy (or as they say in Italian, pazzo) and add toppings to pizzas you’ve never seen before (and might not ever see again). And we did it Prima Strada style.

It was crazy, awesome and maybe even a little weird (in a really delicious way). Yes, there was pineapple, iceberg lettuce, house made ranch dressing and so much more. And all on our award winning wood fired pizzas!  We served up five deliciously creative Fantasy Pizzas along with PPS’ top 3 pies – Margherita, Salsiccia and Funghi.
