Free espresso at Fort Street! It’s true! Join us at the bar at Prima Strada Fort Street for a free espresso!*

Drink an espresso like an Italian! Appropriate anytime, an espresso is a small but strong shot of black coffee. Typically enjoyed al banco (at the bar) with friends and conversation.

We took a few lumps at Fort Street in 2022 and couldn’t be happier to welcome 2023 than with a shot! Our friends at Drumroaster have supplied the beans and we’re ready to greet you at the bar for free espresso at Fort Street!

We’re open Wednesday – Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Peach Spritz

These days it’s all about the spritz. And there’s nothing wrong with Aperol Spritz or the Campari Spritz (classics for a reason) but every now and again we crave something new, bubbly and fun. We’re digging local BC fruit right now and Maggie has developed a feature patio sipper we know you’ll love. Find it at Prima Strada Fort Street or make it at home!

Base + bubbles + more bubbles + garnish = crowd pleaser

Pinot Grigio Peach Spritz 2 oz Pinot Grigio (or any white wine) 1.5 oz peach syrup * 1/2 oz lemon 3 fresh mint leaves Soda Shaken on ice, strained over fresh ice, top with soda, garnish with lemon wheel or a fresh peach slice! *Make your own peach syrup! Local peaches are in! Peach Syrup 700 ml water 500 ml sugar 300g fresh, pitted & quartered peaches (or frozen) Bring to a boil on high heat, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 20 minutes. Fine strain & let cool. Refrigerate for 1 week.

Little Free Library at PPS Fort

Take a book, leave a book, or simply have a look.

It’s no surprise that we’re a group of readers at PPS. We especially love sharing a good cookbook. Our Little Free Libraries are designed to bring our neighbours together, inspire all ages and spark recycling efforts. It also gives us an opportunity to share the books we read, enjoy and want to share. We’ve loaded our newly built library at PPS Fort Street with donated cookbooks, kids books and some of our favourites. We hope you’ll enjoy swapping your used books as much as we do.

Holiday books needed! Help us fill our Little Free Libraries with some holiday books this December. It takes a community to keep the small libraries flourishing, we need your help.

Each and every Little Free Library is special and ours are no exception. It’s a lot of time, love and devotion to create one (Thank you GPR).

Celebrate Victoria Beer Week with Pizza at PPS!

Beer, Pizza and Gelato!

Pizza makes us happy, beer make us happy and the two make us very very happy.  We’re thrilled to be a part of the 5th annual Victoria Beer Week, a nine-day festival highlighting the best of local BC craft breweries.

It’s no secret we believe nights are best spent at a table with family, friends, great food and drink. We’re teaming up with five fantastic breweries this year: Driftwood, Hoyne, Riot, Sooke and Steel & Oak to offer four pizzas courses and one dessert. Of course all paired with beer!

Did we mention dessert? Our party is even better this year with the addition of a final course featuring house made gelato and beer (…we’re just as excited as you!).

Join us on Monday March 5th, 2018 at PPS Fort Street for delicious eats and drinks:

Pizza and cask night, prima Strada
Cask & Pizza Night with Russell Brewing

Beer and pizza aficionados!  Join PPS Fort on Saturday, June 24th for a featured cask night.  We’ve partnered with Russell Brewing Company for the evening and will be introducing the Punch Bowl IPA, dry hopped with mosaic characters.

Bring the family & join us from 5pm – 9pm at our Fort Street pizzeria for a delicious pizza pairing featuring St. Agur blue cheese, strawberries and a really, really good beer from our friends at Russell Brewing Company.

For all of the beer enthusiast out there, we’ll be tapping the cask right at 5pm! Save the date and don’t be late.
