House Made Goods to Grab & Go

Grab & Go – your favourite Prima Strada house made goods are ready to roll (from our kitchen to yours)!

The Prima Strada team has made our house made goods available to go. There’s sausage, pepperoni, olives, polenta, pesto, honey balsamic vinaigrette, gelato, sorbetto and tiramisu. Meatballs too! Great goods that can easily make a snack or meal.

We’ve loaded up the fridge and freezer cases in the pizzerias. Stop by and grab the goods as you go about your day, as you depart the pizzeria after a great meal or add onto your to-go order! So many choices, so much deliciousness.

We hope our favourites will become yours and more importantly, help make your day a little easier.

P.S. – a selection of wine, beer and soda are in our cases too! Chilled and ready to go!

The Aviation – Vegas Style!

A cocktail with wings, The Aviation, an old school gin recipe is making a comeback.  When in Las Vegas at Pizza Expo last month (yes, this is real life), we discovered this classic cocktail. We even had 2 to make sure it is really that good and knew it was something to share! It’s bright, refreshing and delivers every time.  Cin cin!

Celebrate Victoria Beer Week with Pizza at PPS!

Beer, Pizza and Gelato!

Pizza makes us happy, beer make us happy and the two make us very very happy.  We’re thrilled to be a part of the 5th annual Victoria Beer Week, a nine-day festival highlighting the best of local BC craft breweries.

It’s no secret we believe nights are best spent at a table with family, friends, great food and drink. We’re teaming up with five fantastic breweries this year: Driftwood, Hoyne, Riot, Sooke and Steel & Oak to offer four pizzas courses and one dessert. Of course all paired with beer!

Did we mention dessert? Our party is even better this year with the addition of a final course featuring house made gelato and beer (…we’re just as excited as you!).

Join us on Monday March 5th, 2018 at PPS Fort Street for delicious eats and drinks:

PPS Frizzante – Bubbles Make Everything Better!

Prima Frizzante – the newest member of the Vino della Casa (house wine) family has arrived!

Fresh and fruity with notes of sweet orange blossom and succulent pear, the new PPS Frizzante (available February 10) is a delightful Prosecco-style sparking wine made by our friends at Averill Creek Vineyard, right here on Vancouver Island.

Who doesn’t love a good sparkling wine?  We’re throwing away any stigma that sparking wine is for celebrations only.  It’s to be enjoyed with family, friends and great food, something we’re proud to represent at PPS.

Next time you join us, try the PPS Frizzante (affectionally known as the House Bubbles) with a pizza.  It really is a fabulous pairing.  Trust us, we put it to the test (we know, we know, tough job right?)
