Fort St is closing.

End of a decade – Fort St is closing.

It’s the end of a decade, after more than 10 years serving the Jubilee and Oak Bay neighbourhoods, our Fort Street pizzeria is closing. Our last day of service will be Sunday, December 7, 2025.

We appreciate every moment you’ve chosen Prima Strada Fort Street for celebrations with family and friends, lunch with co-workers, getting the team fed after a game, Friday night pizza and Sunday lunch! Grazie mille for all the love you’ve shown us!

Thank you to our team for exemplifying Prima Strada’s values of Pizza. People. Passion. For creating our award winning Neapolitan pizza and sharing Prima Strada hospitality with our guests! We couldn’t have done it without them.

We’re as committed and passionate for Neapolitan pizza as we were at the start – way back in 2008 when we opened Cook Street!

Come for pizza at Cook Street!

We’re located in heart of the Cook Street Village at:

  1. My first Prima Strata experience was in your location off Gorge when we first moved from Vancouver. That place was fantastic but alas moved to Cobble Hill. Then we went to the Fort street location because we love your pizza, great parking good staff but now one location with horrible parking and limited space inside. What??

    1. We hope you’ll find your way to Cook St. I know the team would appreciate seeing you, they are always on the look out for Fort St. regulars. Our Production Kitchen at Bridge/Gorge is expanding and we expect something new there soon!

  2. We’re so sad! Why did you close? Cook Street is too small and you can’t park! Please open somewhere else! We love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    1. Hi Sue – Thanks for your message. The short answer is increasing costs made pizzeria operations more challenging than ever. We hope you’ll find your way to Cook St. I know the team would appreciate seeing you, they are always on the look out for their Fort St regulars.
