Creating a Prima Strada frozen pizza took some time. We talked about it for years and spent time on the frozen food aisle of many markets. We ate a lot of frozen pizzas.
Could our frozen pizza compare with what we serve up in the pizzerias? Sure, you pull it out of your freezer and pop in your oven. One bite and you’re transported. Right? Not quite, but we realized we could make great frozen pizza. It would be different than in the pizzerias, but it would be delicious and it might be even the best frozen pizza you’ve ever eaten!
We use the same traditional methods and ingredients to make our frozen pizzas. Using the same dough, we stretch the pizza by hand and then partially bake it in our wood fired oven. The same quality ingredients and our house made sausage and pepperoni. Pull a frozen Prima Strada pizza or two out of your freezer, pop into an oven and enjoy! We’ve been know to tuck a piza or two into a camping or road trip cooler too. Makes arriving at the destination that much better.
The classic Margherita, our house made Sausage or Pepperoni and the all vegetarian Capricciosa Rosa! Each Prima Strada frozen pizza is made just like in the pizzerias: stretched and topped by hand and baked in a wood fired oven.
