It’s easy to make a Prima Strada Gelato Cake. Trust us!
On a recent market trip, local strawberries jumped into my basket! When I arrived home, I found not one but two magazines with icebox cake recipes using fresh raspberries. Sure seemed like a sign to me. I’d always wanted to make an icebox cake and with no raspberries in the house, a substitution was sure to happen.
I set about combining and customizing the recipes using the fresh strawberries and Prima Strada house made Fior di Latte Gelato and Strawberry Sorbetto. It was easy, fun and most importantly, delicious! Now, I can’t stop thinking of the other combinations. I’ve got a jar of homemade hot fudge in the fridge, bananas on the counter and an extra box of cookies in the pantry. How would that layer in with Prima Strada Chocolate Gelato? So many possibilities of deliciousness and Chocolate Peanut Butter Gelato arrives in the pizzerias soon!
