Peach Spritz

These days it’s all about the spritz. And there’s nothing wrong with Aperol Spritz or the Campari Spritz (classics for a reason) but every now and again we crave something new, bubbly and fun. We’re digging local BC fruit right now and Maggie has developed a feature patio sipper we know you’ll love. Find it at Prima Strada Fort Street or make it at home!

Base + bubbles + more bubbles + garnish = crowd pleaser


Pinot Grigio Peach Spritz
2 oz Pinot Grigio (or any white wine)
1.5 oz peach syrup *
1/2 oz lemon
3 fresh mint leaves
Soda
Shaken on ice, strained over fresh ice, top with soda, garnish with lemon wheel or a fresh peach slice!

*Make your own peach syrup! Local peaches are in!
Peach Syrup
700 ml water
500 ml sugar
300g fresh, pitted & quartered peaches (or frozen)
Bring to a boil on high heat, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 20 minutes. Fine strain & let cool. Refrigerate for 1 week.
