Prima Strada Cobble Hill Celebrates a Birthday with New Sparkling Wine
Two food lovers with a passion for pizza were inspired to create Pizzeria Prima Strada. Cristen and Geoffrey recognized the need for a neighborhood pizzeria in the Cowichan Valley, a place you could gather with family and friends for a delicious meal. Now, one year later, Cowichan Valley’s newest wood-fired pizzeria is celebrating its first anniversary!
Just a year ago, with the opening of Cobble Hill, Prima Strada and Averill Creek launched the highly successful Vino della Casa. The new house wine, Prima Prevost and Prima Grigio are 100% estate grown; hand crafted in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island by Averill Creek Vineyard.
“It’s something we’re incredibly proud of,” say Cristen DeCarolis. “and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate our first anniversary in Cobble Hill than with the addition of bubbles – Prima Frizzante has joined the family!”
On your next trip through or to the Cowichan Valley, stop at PPS Cobble Hill (located right off the hwy on Cow Bay Rd- open daily from 11:30am – 9:00pm) for wood-fired pizza, house made gelato, local craft beer and don’t forget to raise a glass of bubbles to celebrate turning one! Cin cin!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. WE HAVE YET TO COME AND VISIT AND WE KNOW HOW OVEN PIZZA CAN TASTE SO VERY GOOD AND DELICIOUS GREETINGS GARY AND PAULINE JACKSON.
Thank you for coming to the Cowichan Valley – PPS is my happy place!
