Fantasy Night Pizza – what’s that you ask? Let us tell you …
For years now (almost 10!) we’ve been asked about those “other” toppings. At PPS, we stick with the traditional and use ingredients typically found on or inspired by traditional Neapolitan pizza. But for one night only, we got a little crazy (or as they say in Italian, pazzo) and add toppings to pizzas you’ve never seen before (and might not ever see again). And we did it Prima Strada style.
It was crazy, awesome and maybe even a little weird (in a really delicious way). Yes, there was pineapple, iceberg lettuce, house made ranch dressing and so much more. And all on our award winning wood fired pizzas! We served up five deliciously creative Fantasy Pizzas along with PPS’ top 3 pies – Margherita, Salsiccia and Funghi.

Taco – pulled pork, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, cheddar cheese, shredded iceberg
lettuce and house ranch dressing
Perogi – rosemary garlic oil base, potato, tesa, sauerkraut, caciocavallo, sour cream
and fresh chives
Hawaiian – tomato base, house smoked ham, roasted pineapple, mozzarella, chilis
Donair – garlic butter base, spicy beef, parmigiano, mozzarella, tomato,
“Donair Sauce” and fresh parsley
Banana foster – banana, mozzarella, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate sauce
It was a wild night, a heck of a lot of fun and maybe, just maybe it will come back again next year!
