We’re so pleased to announce that we were awarded “Greenest Restaurant” in our category at this year’s EcoStar Awards, presented by Synergy Enterprises here in Victoria.
The EcoStar Awards acknowledge outstanding environmental consideration, leadership and achievements by individuals, organizations and businesses in and around the Victoria area. As we initially read through the list of finalists, we couldn’t help but remark that we were in great company – so great to see so many other local businesses doing their part.
While we at Pizzeria Prima Strada have always done our best to be respectful of the environment, this past year we took things a step further. We officially achieved carbon neutrality with the help of Offsetters – something we’re very proud of.
We’re so thankful to have received this award – it solidifies the fact that we’re headed in the right direction.
But, there’s always more to be done. As one of our core values is a mandate to relentlessly strive for improvement, we will continue to do all we can to become greener and greener as a company.
