After being safely transported from PPS Bridge to the new Fort Street location a couple of weeks ago, our new oven is safe and sound at Fort and Foul Bay.
It’s being prepped for use each day.
Wondering what this means? To prep the oven, before all else, it needs to be “cured”. Each day we make small fires in the oven. Gradually, we make these fires bigger and hotter until our desired temperature is reached.
A couple of days ago, we cooked our first pizzas in the oven!
Well, kind of…
We made the pizzas and cooked them to 80% at our Bridge Street location. The pies were then brought to Fort Street where PPS Owner, Geoffrey, finished cooking them and fed them to construction workers hard at work.
