It’s official! We now serve our own housemade gelato and sorbetto at PPS!

It’s been in the works for quite some time and now it’s official: from this day forward we’ll be serving our own housemade, hand-crafted artisan gelato and dairy-free sorbetto at Pizzeria Prima Strada!

We’re so proud and absolutely thrilled to be sharing this news with you.

Here’s the deal: months ago, PPS production chef Franz Dessombes headed South to gelato university. He learned a lot and has been hard at work perfecting his recipes ever since!

Last month we introduced the new housemade gelato at PPS Bridge. (You may have already tried our delicious offerings like local strawberry, cantaloupe or lemon – perfetto).

Now you can taste our new housemade treats at both PPS locations!

Right now we’ve got traditional hazelnut, chocolate and stracciatella, and a few inspired flavours like Drumroaster espresso and salted caramel, chocolate with Guajillo chili and smoked salt and hazelnut.

Flavours will rotate, but you can feel free to call us anytime to find out what we’ve got on hand.

Drop by either PPS ASAP to test a flavour or two (or three)!
