PPS Staff Bio – Kurtiss Jackson

When you walk into PPS Cook for lunch, it’s nearly impossible to miss Kurt. He towers over most people and always has a smile from ear to ear.  Hailing from Chemainus, Kurt embodies the West Coast attitude – friendly, relaxed & easy going.  He’s worked at local food landmarks Pagliacci’s and Floyd’s Diner before joining PPS. We love his instincts.Pizzeria Prima Strada Employee Bio - Kurtiss Jackson
Like many Islanders, Kurt loves craft beer.  While he favours an ice cold Farmhand Ale from Driftwood, he will gladly sip anything local.  Another passion of Kurt’s?  Art – a true artist, Kurt likes to mix mediums and experiment with a combination of charcoal drawing, painting & sculpting.   Although he doesn’t sell his art pieces anymore, Kurt is regularly hired to design unique tattoos for his friends.  Next time you saddle up to the bar at PPS Cook for lunch, start up a conversation with Kurt.  His friendly charm is infectious.
