Wear Your Helmet – Get 15% Off

It’s already been a big year for Island cyclists and the season has just begun! Last month our very own Ryder Hesjedal won the Giro d’Italia donning the pink jersey!  Next up? Ryder’s Tour de Victoria, the Tour de France and the 2012 Olympics!

Many of you are gearing up to ride tomorrow’s Tour de Victoria race, including a couple members of our team.  The race was designed to showcase the beautiful trails on Vancouver Island – including a couple of quad-burning inclines and the dreaded  Munn’s Road hill.

Looking for a more relaxed ride?  Why not join Theatre SKAM as they bike along the Galloping Goose for their final ride of the season.  Audiences are treated to a series of short shows presented along a 4km stretch of the Goose.  All performances will feature stories of the spirits that haunt the Gorge.

No matter which ride you choose, every cyclist can take advantage of our new helmet discount.  Starting Sunday, June 24 until the end of summer we will be giving 15% off food to every rider who comes into either of our locations with a bike helmet (Dine-in Only).  Enter the draw to win a Pizzeria Prima Strada cycling jersey – we’ll be collecting business cards and ballot entries at both of our locations.  The winner of our yellow jersey will be announced in our August newsletter – shortly after the winner of another infamous yellow jersey is revealed.Pizzeria Prima Strada cycling jersey

So whether you’re cruising the Cook Street village with family or passing through Rock Bay on an epic Galloping Goose ride, stop in to refuel and maybe you’ll be wearing the yellow jersey this August.Pizzeria Prima Strada Cycling Jersey

Can’t wait until August?  You can pick up your very own PPS cycling jersey for $88 at PPS Bridge Street.
